The language of the natives

The Dhivehi language is the mother tongue of the Dhivehi people. There are different opinions about what is the mother tongue of the Dhivehi language. Some earlier speculations conclude that the origin of the Dhivehi  language is Sinhala. Other proposals conclude that the language is of Sanskrit origin. However, recent researchers believe that these conclusions are not scientifically correct. Therefore, the search for the mother tongue and origins of the Dhivehi  language is an important national task.
The most productive writer that Dhivehiraje has ever seen, Fazilatu Shaikh Hussain Salahuddin, notes that the Dhivehi language has been fed by many different languages. These include Avesta Parthi, Sanskrit, Sinhala, Tamil, Poshti and Persian. In addition, he brings the Arabic language. There are also some influences of Turkish, Azerbaijani and Portuguese. Amalia, a contemporary linguist, believes that as research into the origins of the Dhivehi  language continues, the relationships between Dhivehi  and English are becoming more prominent and deeper. Therefore, he is interested in studying the relationship between Dhivehi and English in the debate on the origin of Dhivehi.
Linguists believe that the different levels and modes of communication in Dhivehi language indicate two very important things. One is the age of the language. Another thing is the richness of the culture and civilization of the Dhivehins. For example, the dialect of God has a distinct vocabulary. A special word for the angels and messengers, especially the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). A separate language for kings. The palace is different. Other common palaces and people's speech is also different. There is also a separate vocabulary for medicine, witchcraft and sorcery. A separate vocabulary for religious fiqh texts. Scientific discoveries show that all these different elevated measures, forms and types come into a language over many centuries. from a long lasting civilization.
The language has an extensive literature. The language is written in its own alphabet.
