The Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage

The Ministry of Language, Culture and Heritage was established on 17 November Prior to that, on 21 January 2014, the Ministry was known as the Ministry of Culture and Heritage.

The name and responsibilities of the Ministry were revised and created under a new name. Mohammed Muizzu. It is with the elevation of all aspects of the National System of Restoration of Dhvehi Nationality, which he has given high priority among the policies of his Government, to this Ministry. The institutions under the Ministry include the National Center for the Study of Dhvehi Heritage, the College of Dhvehi National Heritage (Dhvehi Nationalism) and the National Printing House. In addition, the Dhvehi Language Academy and the National Center for the Protection of Heritage are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry.
